I've recently turned 40, and after hitting my original goal of dunking again at age 38, I've updated my targets to (hopefully) keep progressing on my dunk journey. Blog posts will highlight my progress towards my Dunking, Vertical Jump, and Weight goals, and I'll also add lots of other content around dunking, vertical jump training, and all things basketball. Wait... dunking can hurt you?
So, Kobe's recent 2-handed dunk against New Orleans (which looked pretty standard on replays) actually TORE HIS ROTATOR CUFF.

If this can happen to a 36-year-old professional athlete, I'll assume my 38-year-old body could see even worse. All the more reason to lose some weight and take pressure off when I'm jumping.
